Senior Corps Performance Measurement Instrument Packets and Mini-Packets

Senior Corps Performance Measurement Instrument Packets

The purpose of these instrument packets is to help projects think
through the elements needed when developing/using a performance measurement instrument. Each packet contains a work plan and instruments to measure outputs, intermediate outcomes, and end outcomes. Instructions on how to administer each instrument, as well as how to summarize results, are also included.

The instruments in these packets are intended as models to consider when developing or selecting your own instruments. You are encouraged to modify these instruments as needed so that they measure service activities and performance measurement indicators that are relevant to your project.

Senior Corps Performance Measurement Instrument Mini-Packets

Each mini-packet contains one performance measurement instrument, instructions for using the instrument, and step-by-step instructions for summarizing the results.

The purpose of these mini-packets is to provide Senior Corps projects with basic instruments that can be modified to fit your own performance measurement needs. Each mini-packet addresses a different service area and relevant outcomes. You are not required to use these instruments. Rather, we offer these mini-packets for you to use if you find them useful. We encourage you to modify these instruments as needed so that they measure service activities and performance measurement indicators that are relevant for your project.

For additional instrument samples, please see our Senior Corps Instruments/Resources.

Call Project STAR at 800-548-3656 if you would like assistance in the use of these mini-packets or in developing other instruments to fit your needs.
