T/TA Focus: Technical Assistance in Disaster Services

Project TADS is a technical assistance provider sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Service and operated by Aguirre Division, JBS International, Inc. and Bullock and Haddow, LLC. Project TADS staff includes experts in disaster services, all-hazards management and homeland security issues, and experienced CNCS training and technical assistance providers.

Training and Technical Assistance
Project TADS provides training and technical assistance to grantees in relation to preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. We can provide projects with resources, support, and guidance on:

  • Organization and partnership building
  • Volunteer recruitment, retention, skills assessment, and training
  • Project design, planning, and evaluation
  • Public education and awareness
  • Communications and marketing
  • Volunteer involvement in disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation operations
Comprehensive Services and Training
Project TADS provides comprehensive services that include:
  • Quick Response Team: Disaster management and homeland security experts are available to provide advice and customized assistance in planning program activities.
  • Program Support Materials: We maintain a library of program design and management materials, guides and resources for disaster management, and homeland security program staff can be located on our web page or through The Resource Center.
