Resources
Now! National Institute
Twice annually, this two-day institute is made available to community
service leaders with experience in fundraising. It consists of four
resource and fund development tracks, with three workshops in each.
These 12 three-hour sessions include coaching components and action
planning. The institute is designed to provide participants with opportunities
to hone skills and apply knowledge to rapidly install the mechanisms
to raise resources now! Some sessions include corporate emphasis on Inside the Corner Office; individual fundraising related
to To Raise $, Raise People; and Asking Clinics
to practice the 3Ts of messaging through text, team, and talk to attract
resources.
Resource and Fund
Development Workshops
Campaign Consultation is providing a broad range of three-hour stand-alone
workshops specifically created to guide and support grantees toward
greater financial self-sufficiency. Some offerings include e-Philanthropy,
the Value of Your Brand, and Cause Marketing.
On-the-Go e-TA
Expect fundraising hot tips, cool ideas, new trends, profiles, announcements,
articles, suggested reading, and best practices delivered to your desktop
in a timely manner, promoting up-to-date learning.
Learning Templates
Campaign Consultation is adding to its collection of portable learning
templates and tools to educate, invigorate, and equip your resource
development team. The materials provide fundraising information through
such mechanisms as PowerPoint presentations with facilitator guidebook, online learning experiences, and puzzles. It's learning—made
fun.
Learning Experiences
at a Distance (LEAD) Coaching
Grantee leaders and programs are invited to take advantage of in-depth
fundraising technical assistance sessions and follow-up conducted primarily
through telephone conferencing, and e-mail. LEAD coaching is
particularly helpful to grantee leaders in developing resource development
action plans. LEADLINE offers toll-free telephone and e-mail technical
assistance five days a week, 52 weeks a year: 1-877-243-2253, ext. 50; leadline@campaignconsultation.com.
Local On-the-Ground
Capacity Building
A limited number of in-depth interventions for resource and fund development
implementation needs are available to program leaders. Learning by doing,
side-by-side a professional fundraising practitioner, is an excellent
way to learn. Experts will help programs identify a targeted need which
can be feasibly resolved by on-site support. Think of on-the-job fundraising
training—community service style.
Online Learning in
Networked Communities (O-LINC)
Sometimes a tip from a peer is just what's needed to address a fundraising
challenge. O-LINC is available for peers to share personal fundraising
needs and experience with their colleagues. O-LINC is facilitated by
knowledgeable staff to encourage and stimulate learning and link to
expert resources. |
