South Central South Dakota RSVP based in Yankton, began in September of 2001 with Deb Overseth as Coordinator. Currently, the Yankton area RSVP has over 150 volunteers enrolled, who volunteer at over 40 work stations. We are proud to be a Yankton United Way agency. Volunteers serve in many ways in the community which include: meals on wheels and senior nutrition, Yankton senior center, Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton Women’s Shelter, Yankton Chamber office, United Way, Habitat For Humanity, court monitors, reading buddies, SHIINE program, literacy council tutors, Yankton Area Arts, and Clothing Closet.
