Indicators of Civic Health
  Wellbeing and progress in a community can be measured by indicators of outcomes in the major elements of the quality of life, such as education, the economy, the natural environment, the social environment, culture and recreation, health, mobility, and public safety. These indicators were developed by the Jacksonville Community Council, Inc.  
Active Citizens 101
  Active Citizens 101 is organized into five modules and seven lessons that meet the CNCS-recommended citizenship requirements for most AmeriCorps programs. Includes an evaluation instrument designed to measure the civic outcomes associated with each module.

CASE

  Provides an easy-to-use and flexible tool for gathering data on levels of civil and political engagement within a community or program. Also includes links to results of a nationwide study on civic engagement.  
Civic Practices Network
  Civic Practices Network (CPN) is a collaborative and nonpartisan project bringing together a diverse array of organizations and perspectives within the new citizenship movement.  
Clinton School of Public Service
  The Clinton School of Public Service promotes a vision of world leaders who work with others to build healthy, engaged, and vibrant communities. Kids Voting USA
  Kids Voting USA (KVUSA) is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that teaches students about the concepts of citizenship, civic responsibility, democracy and the importance of political participation.  
National Center for Learning and Citizenship
  The National Center for Learning and Citizenship provides information about service-learning and citizenship education through publications, meetings, policy development, technical assistance, advocacy, leadership and networking.  
National Civic League
  The National Civic League (NCL) is a non-profit, non-partisan, membership organization dedicated to strengthening citizen democracy by transforming democratic institutions. NCL fosters innovative community building and political reform, assists local governments, and recognizes collaborative community achievement. NCL accomplishes its mission through technical assistance, training, publishing, research, and the All-America City Awards.

  Our Documents is a national initiative on American history, civics, and service. At the heart of this initiative are 100 milestone documents of American history that reflect our diversity and our unity, our past and our future, and our commitment as a nation to “form a more perfect union.” The Our Documents initiative is a cooperative effort among National History Day, The National Archives and Records Administration, USA Freedom Corps, and The Corporation for National and Community Service.  
Pew Internet and American Life
  Explores the impact of the internet on families, communities, work and home, daily life, education, health care, and civic and political life.  
The Pew Charitable Trusts
  The Pew Charitable Trusts support citizen participation in addressing critical issues and effecting social change. This is achieved through strategic investments in nonprofit activities in the areas of culture, education, the environment, health and human services, public policy and religion. The Saguaro Seminar: Civic Engagement in America
  Robert Putnam, author of "Bowling Alone," created this project to study new approaches to increasing civic engagement and social capital. Includes information on Civic Engagement and Youth, Government, Politics, Faith-Based Efforts, Work, and the Arts.  
The Social Capital Community Benchmark Survey
  Provides information about social capital across the United States based on a survey of 30,000 people. The survey looks at how connected Americans are to family friends, neighbors and civic institutions on a local and national level.
