In the conventional approach, teachers set up activities that help children develop specific mental skills, such as matching, grouping, and cause and effect. Offers some basic ways teachers can encourage young children to think creatively by using another approach, currently known as emergent curriculum. In this approach, considerable emphasis is put on the inquiry method as a means of stimulating thought. VHS format. 30 minutes.
